Formula VEE Association Membership

There are two types of membership of the Formula VEE Association.

Social Membership

For supporters of Formula VEE and others who are interested in supporting the class in various different ways and want to be kept up to date with everything that is happening!
Cost is €50 per annum. Membership is from 1st January to 31st December of the year you join. Memberships for the following year are accepted from November onwards.

Full (Driver) Membership

If you plan racing in Formula VEE and you want to score points in any of the championships (ie, the Motorsport Ireland recognised National Championship, or the Association run ‘B’ and Novice championships) then you must join up as a full member. Membership for 2010 is €140. If you just want to race and don’t want points, then you don’t need to join, but likewise you won’t be kept informed about what is going on!

How do I join?

Download the current membership application form Here ,and send it to The Chairman or The Secretary at the address on the form. Payment (cheques/postal orders) should be made payable to ‘Formula VEE Association’. Make sure you send the correct amount for the membership type that you have chosen.
If you are a driver, then don’t forget to fill out the driver profile form, available Here ,fill it in and enclose it with your membership application form.

Assuming everything is in order you will receive acknowledgement of your membership application by email within a few days of us receiving it, and written confirmation of your membership along with your race number (if appropriate) a few days later.
PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to start scoring points at a particular race, MAKE SURE your application form is with us AT LEAST FOUR DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT. While you can certainly hand membership forms to the chairman at the track at an event, you WILL NOT SCORE POINTS for that event.
