The SuperValu Lusk Formula VEE Novice Championship

Congratulations to Damien Murphy - the 2010 SuperValu Lusk Formula VEE Novice Champion! OK, so there was no change in the positions after the last round - evident by the lack of drivers - but it doesn't take away from the overall 7th Place that Damien took to round off his season and reinforce his promotion to an 'A' driver next year!

Congratulations to all our novices this year, I know it was a difficult year for some, so time to put the year behind you and look forward to next season!

The SuperValu Lusk Formula VEE Novice Championship is run by the Formula VEE Association and is open to registered members of the Formula VEE association who are novice drivers. A novice driver is someone who has never competed in single seater (or saloon) racing before. Some of our novices may have competed in karts when they were younger! If you have previously done one or two races you can apply to see if you qualify as a novice. Like the other championships, this one is closely fought from start to finish, in fact, some of our novices will regularly put some of the more experienced drivers to shame – at least in terms of track speed anyway!!!
Points are awarded to the top nineteen class finishers. Previous winners include Brian Leader, Alan Whitty and Daniel Polley and Owen Purcell. Last years winner was Lloyd Murphy.
Our thanks go to Robert Casey who for sponsoring this championship again this year.
