Crowne Plaza Dundalk Formula VEE Championship 2010

Roy Halnon continues his strong charge, but the championship hopes are still only with the current top four. There are only twelve points separating the top four, so it really is anyone's championship to take.
There was some fantastic racing in the class this weekend with both Gordon Halnon and Paula Moore upping their game substantially and bad luck meaning that their race results don't reflect their driving this weekend! Like the National Championship, the racing in this championship should be well worth watching for the last two championship rounds!

The Formula B VEE Championship is run by the Formula VEE Association and is open to registered members of the Formula VEE Association who are neither novices or ‘top runners’. Essentially this class is for drivers who are improving, haven’t been promoted to National Championship only yet, or those who just enjoy their racing!! However, whether you are racing for fun or a bit more serious, on track the action is the same and this championship is just as closely fought as the national, again seldom being decided until the last race of the season.
Points are awarded to the top nineteen class finishers, so usually, if you finish, you get points! Previous winners of this championship include William Callaghan, Mark Horan, Brian Kelly, David O’Brien and last years winner Adam Macaulay.
